Rev. Lonnie W. Brooks

Lonnie prayed to receive Christ as Lord and Savior as an 18 year old boy, one Sunday evening after church through the love and care of dear Christian friends.  And as Pastor Lonnie says, his life has never been the same after that night.  He began immediately telling others of the change God had made in his life and answered God's call to the ministry just a few months after his conversion.  Pastor Lonnie has been serving others in ministry for 25 years, serving congregations in Kentucky, Indiana, North Carolina, Illinois and Virginia.

Ask Pastor Lonnie what his passion is and you will find out immediately, it is evangelism. He loves telling others of God's love, forgiveness, and the joy they can have in Jesus Christ.  While being blessed to teach and preach at many different churches and events, he has also served on evangelism and medical mission teams in Bulgaria and Moldova.

Pastor Lonnie is married to the love of his life, Marci whom he met while in Bible college, and they have two children Spencer and Shanley.

Pastor Lonnie has a B.A. in Ministry from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and  is currently finishing his Doctor of Ministry degree in Evangelism and Church Growth from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
